TAGteach Workshop/Seminar List

First View Workshop

Purpose: Provide a general overview of TAGteach and TAGteach tools. Perfect workshop for those interested in the TAGteach program and want to experience a 'first view'

Delivery Method: Onsite workshop

Duration: 6 Hour interactive workshop

Description: The First View workshop is truly hands-on. You will learn about, and practice, fundamental TAGteach tools including:

  •    TAGteach Triangle - Method to success
  •    Focus Funnel – Prioritize information
  •    WOOF – Optimize instructions
  •    Audible and Event Marker – Deliver targeted feedback
  •    Reinforce – Strengthen behavior

Leave with: A powerful new perspective on teaching and learning. 


Foundation Course 

Purpose: Gain information and practical experience in the effective application of the TAGteach methodology.

Delivery Method: In person workshop

Duration: 2 day workshop (interactive ppt, videos, hands on activities) Plus ¼ hour virtual support call post seminar. 12 ¼ total participation hours

Description: For those eager to sharpen the skills essential for effective teaching and communication, TAGteach has developed a foundations level course which includes techniques to identify and deliver important information, provide real-time feedback, and positive reinforcement.

  • History of TAGteach - the evolution of the methodology
  • Preparation – What leads your learners to distraction and how can you keep them focused.
  • TAGteach Triangle
  • Identify- What you can see, you can change.  
  • Tag - Unique binary feedback that informs the learner "Yes", 
  • Reinforce - More than just "good job"
  • The Focus Funnel - A filter for editing and organizing teacher information to make it more accessible for the leaner.
  • Tag point: The exact measure of success
  • The application of TAGteach - learn to apply the tools and how to make them an integral part of your personal tool kit. Groups practice using the tools in a supportive environment. 

Advanced TAGteach Seminar - 2 Days

Day 1:

  • What's your story? Energize yourself by collaborating with other TAGteachers. Share your insight and learn from others during a TAGteach idea share session
  • Practice Makes Powerful. Practice using TAGteach "on the fly" and gain the confidence to use the tools anywhere, anytime
  • Planning for Gold. We'll practice the art of finding and/or creating that perfect tag point in a wide variety of circumstances
  • Can I Use TAGteach Here? Expand the use of TAGteach tools into unique environments including home, work and play.
  • How Can I Tag That? Find and tag the physical manifestation of a thought. Learn to create tag points derived from emotions, desires and decisions.
  • It's All fun and Games. The Gamification of TAGteach. We'll look at ways to make sure each TAGteach session is a game to win.
  • I'm a Learner. You deserve all the advantages of TAGteach too! Discover why TAGteach follows all the rules in the science of behavior change and how you can benefit from self-tagging.
  • It's a Hand, Not a Hammer. No need to carry a toolbox- It's all at your fingertips. Practice using TAGteach at a moment's notice without props, token reinforcers, or even a mechanical marker.
  • TAGteach Under the Radar. Learn to use TAGteach tools with people and in places where audible markers and positive reinforcement are not widely recognized.

Day 2:

Hands on practice and brainstorming to solve specific teaching/training challenges brought by the group. You will leave with a specific tag plan for your most pressing issue.
